Ambitious Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our Medical Service team. As a NUM, you will provide clinical leadership to a dedicated nursing team within Ward 4A, which cares for Acute Stroke, Neurology & General Medicine patients. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and inspire the team to deliver safe, quality, and effective person-centered care.

To achieve this, you will need to develop a high-functioning team focused on safety and excellence. You will also be accountable for delivering key quality assurance and performance indicators, as well as operational, financial, and workforce management targets.

Key Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in medical nursing
  • Post Graduate qualification in a specialty field or higher

We offer competitive remuneration based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience, ranging from $60.93 to $65.54 per hour, as outlined in the Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024.
