About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Medical Unit with cardiac telemetry and Medical Assessment Unit (MAU). The successful candidate will work within a supportive and dynamic team, providing quality, evidence-based care to patients. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and services
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
- Develop and implement care plans that meet individual patient needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in an acute hospital setting
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
