Procurement Manager Role

We are seeking an accomplished procurement leader to oversee our Technology portfolio. This strategic position involves developing and implementing portfolio and category management strategies to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.

This senior role requires a skilled professional to lead a team of procurement managers and specialists in delivering Technology spend initiatives. The successful candidate will have expertise in creating and executing strategic portfolio and category plans, ensuring we leverage the best commercial results.

The key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end procurement process management for the Technology spend category
  • Drive category management by developing and implementing portfolio and category management strategies and plans
  • Provide effective leadership and management to the Technology procurement managers and specialists
  • Strategic planning and execution for the Technology portfolio
  • Negotiation of commercial terms to deliver value-added solutions
  • Consolidation of the supplier base through negotiation and strategic partnerships

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in senior IT procurement, preferably in Infrastructure, Energy, or Resource industries
  • Bachelor's degree required, with a business or engineering background preferred
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering strategic portfolio and category plans for Technology
  • Proficiency in negotiating with top-tier Technology suppliers
  • Able to engage stakeholders, determine requirements, and deliver results-driven strategies
