
Vehicle Assessor

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Surveyor to join our team at Altona.
The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying all inbound vehicles at the wharf for any damage, ensuring compliance has been met.
- Conduct Wharf surveys as required.
- Complete documentation within our system.
- Liaise with the yard to accommodate incoming shipments.
- Ensure customer service levels are met, liaising with stakeholders regarding vehicle inspections.
- Liaise with transport to track shipment progress.
- Liaise with the Operations Supervisor daily on task completion and issues or problems.
- Perform general administration duties.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Sound knowledge and experience in logistics and/or the automotive industry.
- Previous experience in a vehicle processing environment or insurance assessing/surveying.
- A full drivers license, enabling manual car operation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
