Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our team. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for defining the vision for the CommBank Yello experience, crafting seamless and engaging journeys for millions of Australians using the CommBank App daily.

  • You will lead discovery initiatives that shape the future of Commbank Yello and support delivery work planned for FY25–26 and beyond.
  • This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact—bringing innovation to life through thoughtful, customer-centric design.
About the Role

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UX/UI designs, that maintain consistency with our design system, ensuring solutions are desirable for customers and feasible for engineering to achieve key business metrics.

  • Collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders including Product Managers, Engineers, Content designers, Accessibility managers, and Legal/Risk throughout the agile lifecycle.
  • Champion customer-centricity and advocate for best-in-class user experience at every stage of the product discovery and development process, ensuring products/services are usable by all customers through accessibility/inclusivity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience designing digital/staff products end-to-end in cross-functional product teams.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery and delivery activities with customers, product, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of human-centred design methodologies and how to apply and execute them pragmatically in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Excellent interaction and UI design skills, with an eye for detail and craft.
