Agile Project Lead

About the Role:

You will guide cross-functional development teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes as an experienced Agile Lead.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead and guide the development team on Agile best practices, workflows, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and sprint planning & execution.
  • Maintain and document the Project's Agile methodology to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is effectively groomed and prioritised.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks and issues, and address them in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and report on the status of project sprints and epic progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage JIRA, ensuring uniform usage across the team and alignment with the Agile methodology.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Agile projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on experience using, managing, and configuring Agile tools like JIRA.
  • ICT-related qualifications are preferred.
  • Agile qualifications are essential — Certified Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner preferred.
