Job Title: Team Leader - Quality Assurance

The role of the team leader is critical in maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team to ensure quality assurance across all medical devices in Australia
  • Coordinate sponsor requirements for inspections and guarantee adherence to TGA regulations
  • Operate with independence while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Required Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in working autonomously and managing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to make strategic decisions based on sound professional judgment and risk management
  • Expertise in regulation and/or manufacture of therapeutic goods

Essential Qualifications:

  • A tertiary degree in science, such as chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, pharmacy or engineering, from an Australian institution or equivalent overseas qualification
  • Citizenship of Australia at the time of employment offer
  • Satisfactory completion of an Australian Federal Police background check and relevant Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check
