Cybersecurity Threat Hunter Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity professional to join our frontline security team as a Threat Hunter. This role plays a vital part in protecting our digital edge and identifying potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to threats, while coaching developers on secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with engineering squads and security specialists to identify vulnerabilities and tune defences.
- Uplift the overall security posture of our applications and platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in one or more of the following languages: Swift, Kotlin, Java, C#, TypeScript.
- Experience working with edge security platforms like Cloudflare or Akamai is preferable but not essential.
- Able to detect, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in live environments.
- Understanding of WAF/WAAP rules, threat analysis, and log monitoring.
- Strong communication skills and passion for coaching developers.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure).
