Electrical Systems Technician:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to undertake electrical work on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults using advanced testing equipment.
  • Install, remove and integrate various electrical components and systems.
  • Connect and power vehicle systems and electronic accessories.
  • Calibrate engine management systems for optimal performance.
  • Replace faulty alternators, generators and starter motors.
  • Repair ignition systems and electrical wiring.
  • Identify and replace defective parts, including fuses and lamps.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Automotive Electrician.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using specialized tools and software.
  • Knowledge of fuel injection, anti-lock braking systems and hybrid technology is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Valid Australian driver's licence.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced workshop environment, often under tight deadlines. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
