Job Info Location: GREENACRE, NSW Salary: $80,001 - $100,000 Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Veira Mal Consulting is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our clients' business in Greenacre.
Our client, C Young Auto Dismantlers is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with strong communication skills.
Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components and systems in a wide range of vehicles.
You will ensure all electrical work is completed to manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities: -Diagnose and pinpoint electrical and electronic faults in vehicles using advanced testing equipment.
-Skilfully remove and install a wide range of electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
-Integrate and connect electrical systems and electronic accessories within various motor vehicles.
-Ensure proper power supply connections for all power-operated vehicle equipment.
-Calibrate and fine-tune engine management systems and ignition timing for optimal performance.
-Inspect, test, and replace malfunctioning alternators, generators, voltage regulators, and starter motors.
-Execute repairs and replacements of faulty ignition systems and intricate electrical wiring.
-Identify and substitute defective parts, including fuses, lamps, and switches, to restore functionality.
Requirements: -Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent (as per AQF standards).
-Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Automotive Electrician.
-Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
-Proficiency in using specialised diagnostic tools and software.
-Knowledge of electronic fuel injection, anti-lock braking systems, airbag systems, and hybrid vehicle technology is desirable.
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
-Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
-Valid Australian driver's licence.
