About this Role

This position is responsible for the efficient and accurate delivery of the end-to-end accounts payable function. The Finance Officer Accounts Payable plays a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Manage day-to-day processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  2. E nsure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  3. Provide high-quality customer service to internal departments and external stakeholders

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  1. Relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience relevant to the position
  2. Detailed knowledge of AP and accounting office functions
  3. Detailed knowledge of the Goods and Services Tax and how it applies to goods and services supplied to the organisation
  4. Understanding of the internal financial controls associated with the AP role
  5. Proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite of Applications, 365 and internet technologies
  6. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer enquiries and convey information
  7. Effective time management skills and the ability to work within the time constraints of financial cycles
  8. Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills
