Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
About the Role:The Financial Operations Manager will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information for decision-making. This involves collaborating with both site-based operational teams and corporate functions to provide budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
Responsibilities:- Provide financial insights to support business objectives
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement financial processes and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- CPA or CA qualified (or actively working towards)
- 3-5 years' experience in management accounting, finance business partnering, or business analysis (mining/resources sector experience highly regarded)
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Advanced MS Excel and ERP system proficiency (PRONTO desirable); exposure to Power BI advantageous
