Financial Operations Manager

Our organization is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Support financial operations through reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and efficient cash flow management.
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and audit preparation to provide valuable insights and support decision-making.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across various departments, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
- Contribute to policy development, report drafting, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support key financial activities and maintain strong relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Strong experience in finance administration, preferably within government or large organizations.
- Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A solutions-focused mindset with a passion for accuracy, process improvement, and continuous learning.
Requirements include current Australian working rights and willingness to undergo a criminal history check. Some intra-state travel and after-hours work may be required.
