Make a difference in people's lives as an Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking experienced professionals to provide holistic, integrated care to clients in Cairns and surrounding areas.

As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care about.

Our team includes Physiotherapists, Dietitians, and Exercise Physiologists who work together to deliver high-quality care and treatment using a person-centred approach.

Your main aim will be to maintain and encourage client independence while considering their physical and social wellbeing.

  • Provide holistic, integrated care to clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing.
  • Tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life.
  • Develop new treatment programs and group classes helping clients to manage their movement, pain, balance, and improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with our well-established multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and exercise physiology treatment.
  • Maintain and encourage client independence while considering their physical and social wellbeing.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and other stakeholders to establish and maintain rapport.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Clinical Exercise Physiology with current ESSA Accreditation.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as an Exercise Physiologist (new graduates welcome to apply).
  • The ability to grow and maintain client caseloads through successful results and positive word of mouth.
  • Autonomy and ability to work effectively as a multi-disciplinary team member and autonomously.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with a multidisciplinary team, clients, and their carers.
