Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving profitability and ensuring the effective operation of our service department. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to mentor and share knowledge, and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily tasks, productivity, and efficiency for a team of technicians
  • Prioritize repair orders in the workshop to ensure timely completion
  • Assist with technical problem-solving and suggest additional work that may be required
  • Maintain OEM workshop tools and equipment, adhering to safety practices and notifying management if replacement or new tools are needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the working area and customer vehicles
  • Assist in expediting parts orders and notify the service advisor if delays are expected
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with relevant vehicle trade qualifications and previous experience as a workshop controller. A current NSW driver's license is essential, while an Air-Conditioning License and ASCIS & AUVIS License are preferred but not necessary. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within large teams are also crucial.
