Job Title: Cafe Team Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic cafe team leader to lead our operations.

The position operates on a part-time basis, approximately 35 hours per week during school terms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare a range of hot and cold foods for customers with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Serve coffee and provide excellent customer service to customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a small team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
  • Certificate: Must hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Experience: Experience in food preparation and coffee service is essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Initiative: Ability to work independently and take initiative, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to drive business success.
  • Organisation Skills: You will have the ability to multi-task and be well organised, clean and fast in this busy hands-on role, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to customers, responding promptly to their needs and concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
