Business Development Manager Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to drive the success of multiple stores within your designated zone as a Full-Time Area Business Development Manager.

You will coordinate store management, resource allocation, and performance to achieve set targets.

Key responsibilities include leading weekly discussions with store managers, supporting staff rostering, training, and development, and providing coaching and guidance to maximize team performance.

You will also champion compliance with Good Retail standard operating procedures and collaborate with Head Office teams to ensure proper resource allocation.

In this role, you will contribute to creating a culture of operational excellence, teamwork, and community impact across your zone.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and inspire the team across area stores to achieve budgets, KPI's and profit targets.
  • Analyse reports to make innovative commercial decisions that drive the stores and manage controllable costs in line with guidelines to maximise profit.
  • Promote effective sharing of resources, staff and stock to operate at optimal efficiency.
  • Establish and nurture a culture focused on ensuring retail team members are empowered and supported to develop and achieve their employment goals.
  • Implement top-tier customer service standards that are consistent across stores to enhance the in-store experience.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual business plans.
  • Undertake responsibility for projects including new store openings with respect to planning, co-ordination, implementation and administration.
  • Maintain visual merchandising excellence to ensure the stores reflect the Brand vision.
  • Oversee the stock management and rotation in stores to maximise sales opportunities based on client demographics.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in retail management, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret and utilise data.
  • A keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Cert IV or similar in Retail Management.
  • Degree in Business Administration or similar.
