Job Overview

We are seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to support the delivery of meaningful community and stakeholder engagement across various projects, programs, and initiatives.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing effective engagement plans, developing clear communication materials, and ensuring community feedback is captured and reflected in decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing comprehensive engagement strategies
  • Developing accessible and engaging communication materials
  • Capturing and reflecting community feedback in project decisions

Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for community engagement, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. You will demonstrate high-level verbal and written communication skills, presenting clearly and credibly to a wide range of stakeholders.

As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will influence outcomes, minimize community impacts, and support the successful delivery of projects. Your proficiency in research and data interpretation enables you to present insights that inform decision-making and enhance engagement strategies.

Special requirements include a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check. Some out-of-hours and weekend work, along with intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
