Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Supervisor

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor plays a vital role in our organization, overseeing daily technician tasks and performance levels. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless operations by monitoring pharmacy workflow queues and phone service levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily technician tasks and monitor performance levels
  • Monitor pharmacy workflow queues and phone service levels
  • Develop and maintain an efficient pharmacy technician schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Provide regular communication sessions to address questions and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations to assess workload, performance, and areas for correction
  • Maintain team morale and employee retention by serving as a point of contact for support and guidance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Florida Pharmacy Technician License required; National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) preferred
  • Experience: 2-4 years' experience as a pharmacy technician supervisor required; 5+ years' experience preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Conveyor belt, heat sealer, manual pallet jack
