The Position

Schedule Details: Monday-Friday; no evenings/weekend; Hours 8:30am to 5:30pm EST schedule with great PTO and holidays.

Pharmacy Details: Closed door mail order specialty pharmacy

Location: 495 Keller Rd, Orlando, FL 32751

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises daily technician tasks and performance levels applying operating discipline across both front end and fulfillment.
  • Monitors pharmacy workflow queues and phone service levels
  • Creates pharmacy technician schedule and schedule adherence.
  • Provides weekly huddles to cover communications/process opportunities and changes.
  • Completes monthly 1 on 1's to evaluate workload, performance, and correction.
  • Completes daily timecard review, quarterly performance review and annual performance review of strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintains team morale and employee retention by serving as point of contact for questions and concerns.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Certificates, licenses, and registrations required:
      • Florida Pharmacy Technician License - required
      • National Pharmacy Technician Certification - preferred
    • Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Teams)
    • Experience:
      • 2-4 years' experience as a pharmacy technician supervisor required.
      • 5+ years' experience as pharmacy technician supervisor preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • The employee must continually lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Conveyor belt, heat sealer, manual pallet jack.
