
Inventory Management Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, repair coordination, and inventory management tasks supporting the sustainment of Defence's fleet of Cryptographic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Defence internal/external stakeholders, other government organisations, suppliers, freight forwarders, and original equipment manufacturers to facilitate the acquisition, accounting, and movement of equipment
- Utilise Defence logistic databases, financial systems, and inventory management systems to account for equipment, raise purchase orders, process invoices, and manage finance requirements
- Engage with end-users of assets on a daily basis to provide updates on repair timelines
- Travel to the greater Sydney region to engage with logistics warehouse stakeholders and conduct logistics support on a monthly basis
