Care Leadership Opportunity

The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Care Team Leader to provide outstanding care and support to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care services, promoting individualised support that enhances and promotes the quality of life for our residents.

You will work closely with your General Manager to ensure care governance and quality compliance are achieved through robust processes that meet internal and external auditing standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the sustainability and growth of our services through diligent work with funding, care planning, and community engagement
  • Lead all clinical services in line with our process and policy
  • Provide Quality Care Services and professional practice
  • Oversee and encourage the implementation of continuous improvement activities in all aspects of clinical and lifestyle services
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Coordinate and support all scheduled audits and clinical indicators completed in line with the schedule
  • Ensure resident health records and clinical documentation is relevant and up-to-date
  • Ensure 'best practice' medication management guidelines are observed and regularly monitored
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or Australian recognised equivalency
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse
  • Previous senior clinical care experience in the health sector with clinical experience in aged care
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
  • Sound understanding of care assessment in the Aged Care Sector and use of AN-ACC
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a wide range of IT applications
