About the Role

Omd Australia is seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our team. As an Account Director, you will play a key role in delivering our performance with integrity ambition across OMD's New South Wales Government Account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in the use of the OMD planning process to create the media idea and implementation.
  • Play a key role in strategic development workshops (client and Media Owner).
  • Ensure in-depth assessment of all communication options, using media research tools, delivers innovative insights.
  • Collaborate with and share information with all stakeholders, including external agency partners.
  • Ensure the reporting of competitive, consumer and market data delivers innovative and actionable insights to form the basis of future recommendations.
  • Present detailed communications plans to clients (strategy, implementation planning, execution, sponsorship consideration (corporate, broadcast & data partnerships) and budget management.
  • Monitor and report on agency contract KPIs.
  • Understand and drive the commercial arrangements with all your clients.
  • Promote additional OMD's services to clients when appropriate - understand capability, be able to pressure test relevance and know how to convert an opportunity.
  • Ensure account queries are rare and that any are resolved quickly and with supporting documentation.
  • Effective management and leadership of any direct reports.
