Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Customised Programs: The Learning Enhancement Teacher develops and delivers tailored programs that address the unique requirements of each student.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: This role involves working closely with classroom teachers to provide in-class support for student learning and developing strategies to enhance student outcomes.
  • Individualised Learning Plans: The Learning Enhancement Teacher creates, implements, and regularly reviews Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Personalised Learning plans in collaboration with classroom teachers and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting Implementation: This role involves assisting classroom teachers in developing strategies to implement Student Management Plans, thereby contributing to improved student outcomes.
What We Are Looking For:
  • A deep understanding of child development and behavior.
  • Relevant teaching experience or experience working with children.
  • An appreciation of Learning Disabilities and program modification.
  • Strong professional practice aligned with established educational standards.
  • Ability to multitask, be flexible, and manage changing priorities effectively.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Education.
  • Qualifications in Inclusive Education or related areas and/or relevant experience working in these areas in schools.
