Strategic Account Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Lead to drive growth across our enterprise accounts. This role is central to deepening client partnerships, delivering innovative solutions, and expanding our presence in the market.

The Role

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers with varied service needs.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level and IT decision makers.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, and market share through strategic account growth.
  • Champion the early adoption of new products and services.
  • Lead co-creation and innovation initiatives to introduce and embed Optus capabilities.
  • Act as a market advocate for our enterprise offerings across ICT, mobility, and outsourcing.
  • Mentor and support Account Managers and collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and commercial thinking.
  • Proven ability in relationship-based sales leadership.
  • Understanding of GTM logic and vertical strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in business development within complex enterprise environments.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based and managed ICT services.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple internal/external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative leadership style and experience mentoring others.
