Job Overview

This role involves working as a Coach for Inclusive Employment at Breakthru. The primary goal is to support participants in exploring their career goals, building confidence, and securing meaningful employment. This will involve collaborating with employers to create staffing solutions that meet their business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience or a genuine passion for employment services. You should be confident in supporting people, building trust, and guiding them into meaningful careers. Outcomes-focused, highly organised, and thriving in a fast-paced, people-first environment are essential qualities. Strong relationship-building skills, ability to deliver training, and applying inclusive employment practices are also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and create career opportunities by matching clients with suitable and sustainable roles.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury, or health condition.
  • Engage and work alongside employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
  • Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote Breakthru as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
  • Champion our values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
About You

We're looking for someone who brings empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. Ideally, you have qualifications in Employment or Human Services, proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively, strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions, skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans, excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
