Duratec Australia is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • This full-time position is based in our Newington office and offers a weekly pay cycle.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • We encourage continuous improvement in competitive bidding practices and track inventory levels, managing purchasing activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers, develop and monitor cost-reduction strategies, and monitor supplier performance.
  • You will be responsible for understanding, analysing, and evaluating enterprise-wide procurement requirements for products and services.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor vendor performance and coordinate with staff, operations personnel, and outside agencies to ensure materials, equipment, and services are available when needed.
  • Assist with contracts as required and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
