Lead Mine Engineering Professional SoughtGlencore Australia is seeking an experienced Mine Engineer to join its team at Minara Resources.Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Mine Engineer looking to take the next step in their career.The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who will be responsible for providing direction to the Mine engineering team and co-ordination of all short to long term life of mine planning, scheduling and budgeting activities.
  • Coordinating and implementing pit and infrastructure designs.
  • Providing guidance to and overseeing the engineering and survey teams and functionality.
  • Reviewing and monitoring the planned Ore blending builds to ensure these meet plant specifications.
  • Ensuring timely achievement of company objectives through effective budgeting and KPI tracking.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the engineering department.
  • Act as the Deputy Quarry Managers and/or Mine Managers duties as per statutory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive mine plans.
  • Oversee the engineering and survey teams.
  • Monitor and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
