Medical Strategy Implementation Role

This position involves leading the implementation of strategic healthcare initiatives, embedding value-based healthcare across the organization.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and monitoring business trends related to medical approvals and payments to prevent financial losses.
  • Supporting the increased utilisation of decision support tools to improve healthcare outcomes.
  • Implementing health outcome measures across the organisation.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing other initiatives aligned with the Medical Strategy.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workers compensation, preferably at an operational and leadership level, as well as a broad understanding of healthcare in a compensation setting. Relevant tertiary qualifications in healthcare would be beneficial.
