We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Inventory Management and Quality Control Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring seamless logistics and maintaining high-quality standards.
Job Summary:
As an Inventory Management and Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing stock accuracy, conducting quality control inspections, and implementing efficient inventory processes. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Stock Accuracy and Data Integrity: Conduct regular cycle counts, stocktakes, and data entry to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing goods to guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Inventory Organisation and Labelling: Ensure all inventory is correctly labelled and stored efficiently within the warehouse or factory.
- Liaising and Problem-Solving: Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing teams, and production staff to resolve stock-related issues and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Managing Stock Flow: Maintain optimal inventory levels across the warehouse or factory to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance inventory management and quality control practices.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (desired).
- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehousing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and strong data entry skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) is an asset.
