Our client is a multi-national 3PL business located in Laverton North. They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Controller to join their team.
Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Coordinator, your key objective will be to drive effective inventory management processes at all Melbourne sites by liaising with Internal/External customers to ensure accurate Inventory records are maintained to minimise any potential service impact to the customer.
To achieve this goal your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Perform duties safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support and contribute to the company safety plan including equipment checks, risk assessments and safety audits.
- Develop and maintain Cycle Count Schedules to Customer requirements.
- Post and provide reconciliation variance analysis to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors and Customers.
- Maintain weekly Inventory KPI's regarding cycle counting progress to plan and inventory count accuracy for Management and individual customers as required.
- Report on Inventory processes per client weekly, auditing capacity, QA status, TTL, interim locations, Aged Inventory
- Review annually picking efficiencies for all clients through location management. Looking at pick-face and block stack optimisation.
- Facilitate customer stocktakes where required.
To be successful in securing this role you will have:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills
- Effective influencer with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to implement improvements and initiatives
- Previous exposure to FMCG environment
- Previous WMS exposure
- Superior analytical and numerical skills
- Strong customer service focus. Ensure problems are resolved quickly and seeks opportunities to improve service
