Coxswain Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Coxswain on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience through attentive service and effective operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with other crew members and the Master to facilitate smooth berthing
  • Performing tasks in adherence to safety procedures as per vessel Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Conducting daily cleaning duties, including vessel cleaning and housekeeping
  • Engaging in in-water rescue and maintaining a lookout for guests
  • Safely manoeuvring small vessels as required

About You

We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude, competent deckhand skills, and confident vessel handling abilities.

A passion for delivering memorable experiences is highly desirable.

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • You will focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining a consistent professional presentation
  • You will be confident in conducting deck rounds and safety drills while ensuring compliance with safety procedures
  • You will maintain vessel cleanliness through regular housekeeping duties, adhering to operational procedures and Workplace Health and Safety requirements
