Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Regulatory Change Projects team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of project deliverables and outputs meet the completion criteria.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of working as a Quality Assurance Manager and experience in audit, quality assurance, and risk projects from leading financial institutions. A tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, Risk, or a related field is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and refine the methodology for documentation of all project deliverables and outputs.
  • Maintain product consistency throughout the delivery cycle, including design, implementation, and embed phases through quality checkpoints and testing.
  • Implement ongoing quality improvement processes with the delivery team.
  • Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams.
  • Manage the planning and execution of project assurance activities.
  • Coordinate assurance activities internal and external to the Melbourne Branch.
  • Review documentation and closure packs before they are sent out to external stakeholders.
  • Identify relevant quality-related areas of improvement and upskill the team accordingly.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement.
  • Maintain the project infrastructure to support daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Quality Assurance Manager.
  • 3-6 years' experience in audit, quality assurance, and/or risk projects from other leading banks.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, Finance, Risk, or a related field.
  • Experience in assurance testing within first, second, or third line.
  • Experience in process improvement.
  • Experience working on regulatory compliance-driven environments and projects will be highly advantageous.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
