Dietitian Grade 1 Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team at Peter Mac. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition and dietetic services to inpatients and ambulatory patients with a range of cancer diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical nutrition and dietetic services to patients, including assessment, intervention, and multidisciplinary liaison.
- Work effectively with Food Services Department to provide safe and appropriate care for patients.
- Participate in department quality improvement program, including audits and KPIs.
- Contribute to the development and review of relevant policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
- Act as an advocate for development of nutrition services within tumour streams.
- Membership of Dietitians Australia (DA) and current Provisional or Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Proven ability to negotiate for effective patient outcomes with staff at all levels.
- Flexible and patient-focused approach to clinical workload.
- Proven commitment to ongoing professional development.
- High level word processing and computer skills.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary oncology setting.
- Interest and experience in quality improvement activities.
