About the Role

As a Fleet Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet assets. Based at our State Warehouse location, you will provide on-the-ground support to ensure all assets are fully operational and ready for deployment.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also possess a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records of asset movements and update registry systems accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate fleet asset movements at State Warehouse, including arrivals and departures
  • Conduct basic inspections and report any faults or issues to the Fleet Services team
  • Maintain fleet assets, equipment, and supplies in a state of operational readiness
  • Provide transportation services as required
  • Maintain accurate records of asset movements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current HR driver's license holder with the ability to travel
  • A current forklift licence
  • A First aid certificate
  • Prepare, maintain and test response equipment certificate (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain within 6 months
