Care Specialist Role
The Care Specialist will work with children and young people in out-of-home care services and programs. The successful candidate will support daily living, community access, and contribute to strategies for positive behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:- Support daily living needs of children and young people
- Contribute to strategies for positive behavior management
- Work collaboratively as part of a wider care team
- Diploma of Community Services or related field
- Knowledge of the out-of-home care system and resources
- Awareness of child/adolescent behavior and development
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
