Empowering Indigenous Student Futures

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. As a key coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic plans to recruit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

  • Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
  • Collaborate with university staff and teams across various departments to achieve our goals.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. Relevant degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  2. Demonstrated experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and a knowledge and understanding of the contributions, successes and challenges relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  3. Demonstrated experience in student recruitment and capacity to develop marketing plans to recruit students.
  4. Ability to show leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills by empowering staff to meet high standards and delivery of targets whilst actively managing performance and KPIs to achieve positive outcomes.
  5. Current NSW Driver's Licence
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and evaluating programs and activities undertaken to manage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student recruitment.
  • Leading the development and implementation of strategic plans to recruit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
  • Collaborating with university staff and teams across various departments to achieve our goals.
