  • The incumbent must ensure all areas are presented in a neat, clean, and functional state, addressing any maintenance or cleaning issues as required.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided to F&B team members to ensure consistent and professional service levels.
  • Presentation of public areas, storerooms, and offices should always be clean and organized.
  • The successful candidate will participate in planning and conducting theoretical and on-the-job training sessions.
  • Adherence to established hotel occupational health and safety guidelines is mandatory.
  • Effective management of reservations systems for table bookings is vital.
  • Cashiering policies and procedures must be enforced.
  • Maintenance of equipment in good working order with assistance from the maintenance manager is required.
  • Support to other departments or outlets may be needed at times.
  • Ensuring area security, especially after hours, by securing doors and fridges and locking away items before closing is essential.
  • Conducting weekly stock requisitions to maintain optimal levels and assisting with monthly stock counts is an important responsibility.
  • Fostering open communication among F&B personnel to promote teamwork within the department is crucial.
