Aviation Security Professionals Wanted for Airport Opportunity

Exciting roles exist to work at Melbourne Airport as an Aviation Protection Officer. This position is ideal for those interested in pursuing a career in the Aviation Sector. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of air travel.

About the Position:

  • Responsible for consistent and standard security practices ensuring passengers and their possessions are checked and cleared prior to departure.
  • Control access to security sensitive areas, undertaking physical searches, and identifying weapons, explosives and prohibited items.
  • Efficiently co-ordinate the flow of passengers through security screening.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and sound decision making skills.
  • Provide consistent high quality customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service or a keen interest in working in a dynamic airport environment.
  • Willingness to commit to complete company provided training to gain Certificate II in Transport Security Protection OR currently hold Certificate II in Transport Security Protection.
  • Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance in the past 10 years) which we will pay for.
  • A Melbourne Security License is highly desired.
  • Hold an unrestricted driver's license and have own reliable vehicle.
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 rotational roster.
