Job Overview

The Team Leader plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to take the next step in their careers and support the provision of care to our residents.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care across the home. Your primary responsibility will be to provide social and emotional support to all residents ensuring that care provision is holistic and person-centered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise care on the shift within your designated wing or area.
  • Support the coordination of the care needs of residents across the home including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, pressure care management.
Requirements
  • You have relevant qualifications such as a Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication), Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines), or Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications.
  • You possess a high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • You are an effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
  • You have the ability to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required.
  • You hold a current National police check and working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control.
