Healthcare Professional in Correctional Setting

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Professional to join our team at a maximum-security prison in Regional NSW - Coffs Harbour & North Coast.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of healthcare services to inmates, promoting rehabilitation and reintegration while ensuring the safety and security of all individuals involved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provision of healthcare services to inmates
  • Promote rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, inmates, and visitors
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of patients
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 1-year post-graduate experience (or part-time equivalent)
  • Desirable: experience in primary health, rural health, or emergency nursing
