This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Registered Midwife to join our team.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated midwife who can provide high-quality patient care in an acute hospital setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for practicing and promoting safe, efficient, and effective midwifery care that reflects current standards of midwifery practices and policies.
- Provide comprehensive midwifery care to patients in an acute hospital setting.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in the provision of midwifery care relevant to an acute hospital setting.
- Proven clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care.
- Effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate midwifery care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome-based care.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A base salary of $70,000 - $98,000 per year.

This position requires participation in a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and night duty.
