Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting for a Credit Officer to join their Nationwide business, headquartered at Bundall on the Gold Coast.

The role of Credit Officer offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growth story and to challenge yourself to grow with the Company. The Client has a small but growing team, and loves listening to new ideas, but likes it more when you execute and deliver on those ideas as part of the business.

The day-to-day duties of the role will include:

  • Liaising with the Deal Origination team to structure, price, review, assess and develop finance solutions for clients
  • Initiating and conducting enquiries around the parties involved in prospective deals
  • Liaising with the Collateral Management team regarding potential security backing the deals
  • Ensuring risk is managed by conducting thorough but timely enquiries into the deals and the parties involved
  • Liaising with all parties, including service providers, to follow-up, drive and manage good deals to settlement
  • Ensuring at all times, relationships are developed and expanded through service delivery that is exceptional and timely

To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • The capacity to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to use Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience in lending/finance or property transactions (conveyancers and paralegals may also be suitable)
