Disability Support Career

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently and choose their lifestyle.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to clients with personal care, community access, and daily routines. You will work in clients' homes or in our purpose-built Vertical Villages, implementing behaviour support plans and using de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety and well-being.

This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and aspirations. You will work collaboratively with clinicians, case workers, and families to develop and implement personalized support plans that promote client independence and inclusion.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 6-12 months' experience in disability, aged care, home care, mental health, or related fields
  • Bachelor's Degree/Certificate III/IV/Diploma in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar (preferred)
  • Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and boundary setting
  • Experience with high-intensity or complex behaviours (advantageous but not required for all roles)
  • NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver's Licence and insured vehicle
