Job Title: Support Director

The Support Director plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall performance of our Centre. This dynamic individual works closely with the team to develop and deliver high-quality education and care, while actively mentoring and developing the broader team.

Our centre is designed to provide a diverse and collaborative environment for all. We foster a harmonious relationship with our people, valuing their professionalism and passion while rewarding loyalty and achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our experienced Centre Director on day-to-day operations and cover the role in their absence as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members, children, and families through effective communication and active listening.
  • Develop and deliver high standards of educational programs, leveraging experience and expertise.
  • Focus on quality improvement and support teams to understand and follow Green Leaves policy and procedure.
  • Be available to work part-time or full-time hours each week, on rotating shifts Monday to Friday between 6.30 am and 6:30 pm.

Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, or Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
  • Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates.
  • State-relevant Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Safety Screening.
  • Current Child Protection Training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with proven experience juggling demands and priorities, and managing time effectively.
