The Opportunity Are you passionate about data, insights, and strategic sourcing? We're looking for x2 Category Analyst's to join Ventia's Group Supply Chain team based in North Sydney.
In this critical role, you'll deliver high-quality category analysis, actionable data insights, and support end-to-end tender administration (Source to Contract).
Your expertise will help drive smarter sourcing decisions, reduce supplier risks, and create value across a diverse supplier base.

Deliver reports and insights to enhance category strategies and sourcing decisions.
Uncover opportunities to drive cost savings and supplier consolidation.
Data & Analytics Use tools like Excel, Power BI, Coupa, and SAP Ariba to extract and analyse procurement data.
Provide meaningful insights for supplier segmentation and risk mitigation.
Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Tender Administration (Source to Contract)Support RFI/RFP development, evaluation, and contract award processes.
Manage documentation, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and governance.
Supplier Risk & Value Management Support supplier risk assessments and continuous performance monitoring.
Contribute to developing supplier scorecards and improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Partner with Senior Category Managers, Legal, Finance, and project teams.
Support cross-functional procurement initiatives and transformation projects.
Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We're Looking For Essential: Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field Solid experience in procurement, category management, or data analytics Strong analytical skills and Excel/Power BI proficiency Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent time management and project coordination experience Experience with sourcing events and contract administration Familiarity with procurement systems (Coupa, SAP Ariba)Desirable: Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or services industries Understanding of ESG and supplier risk frameworks Knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management methodologies Diversity Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
