Senior Mechanical Designer

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to play a key role in creating detailed designs, supporting prototype testing and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in Autodesk Vault PDM
- Contribute to the design, testing, and refinement of prototypes
- Perform engineering calculations, including thermodynamic and heat transfer analysis
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and controls teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
Suitable candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 1-3 years' experience in mechanical design. Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault PDM is essential. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems and applicable standards (AS/NZS, ANSI/ASTM) as well as familiarity with FEA, CFD, and heat exchanger design tools (PV Elite, HTRI) is also required.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating complex designs and documentation while collaborating effectively within a team environment. They must be proactive in identifying solutions and able to work under tight deadlines.
