Job Opportunity in Mental Health Care

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping healthcare pathways for North West communities.

  • The CNC Doomadgee will provide high-quality patient care and services in a remote setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive exceptional clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivering top-tier care involves several key responsibilities, including:

  1. Collaborating with nurse unit managers, educators, and wider healthcare teams to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
  2. Contribution to education programs for staff and patients, focusing on best practices and improved care standards.
  3. Development of strategies for improving patient outcomes and advancing the specialty of mental health through evidence-based practice.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary degree qualifications and necessary registration/licences.
  • Postgraduate qualification or current enrollment in a postgraduate program in a relevant area is highly desirable.
  • A valid Class C motor vehicle licence and willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including Criminal History checks.
  • Immunization records may be required for roles involving vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
  • Probationary period may apply as per organizational policy.
