Chief Cyber Protection Officer

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. This role will play a vital part in shaping our cyber security landscape and ensuring the protection of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a similar role, preferably within a SOC, and will possess a strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cloud environment (e.g. Azure) and security technologies.
Key responsibilities will include establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, designing and maintaining cyber defence architecture, leading incident response events, conducting simulation exercises, automating repetitive tasks, and collaborating with businesses to enhance cyber security posture.
Requirements- Significant experience working in a similar role, preferably within a SOC
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cloud environment (e.g. Azure) and security technologies
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and compliance standards
- Naturally inquisitive and analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or Cyber Security
