Senior Cyber Defence EngineerWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Defence Engineer to play a key role in shaping our cyber security landscape at Corporate Office and accelerate your personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Design, develop and maintain robust cyber defence architecture for Corporate Office to ensure the highest level of security.
- Implement and continuously improve defensive technologies to detect and respond to cyber security threats, ensuring business continuity and minimizing risk.
- Lead incident response events as required, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular simulation exercises to test threat preparedness and response capabilities, identifying areas for improvement.
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using automation tools to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with businesses to share knowledge and enhance cyber security posture, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices.
- Significant experience working in a similar role, preferably within a SOC, with a strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cloud environment (i.e. Azure) and security technologies.
- A naturally inquisitive and analytical mind, with a strong ability to problem solve and think critically.
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or Cyber Security, or equivalent discipline.
- Autonomy and space to operate, with freedom to innovate and take calculated risks.
